A while back I mentioned how much I enjoyed the Ideal Protein pancakes, but I didn’t enjoy the fact that they are restricted. So this weekend, I decided to try the ones made with crispy cereal. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and the fact that they kept me full until lunch. Here’s the recipe (easy to find with a quick google).
1 package Ideal Protein Crispy Cereal
2 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
cinnamon and/or nutmeg to taste
Mix dry ingredients in one bowl: cereal, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg. Mix wet ingredients into another bowl: egg whites, vanilla. Pour dry mix into egg white mix and stir. Add water as needed to achieve desired consistency. Cook in a pan as you would pancakes. Server with Walden Farms syrup. Enjoy!
